02 Jun Breaking from WCME News 9: Woolwich Man Is Missing

A young man has gone missing from his home in Woolwich and Sagadahoc County sheriff’s deputies are looking for him. On May 23, 20-year-old Ben Fisher left his home on Tallman Road and was due to show up at his job at the Staples store in Brunswick but never made it, and this is of special concern because Ben has a medical condition that requires routine maintenance.

Ben was last seen on that same day at a home on Ward Road in Brunswick. It is believed that he may have then headed to Portland. Deputies say he sent a text on May 24 and since then his phone has been turned off. On June 1, 2016, he may have been sighted at Shaw’s in Bath. Ben does not have a vehicle or a driver’s license, and his name and information have been entered into the national missing person’s information system.

If you think you’ve seen him, you are asked to contact the Sagadahoc County sheriff’s office.
