Some out of the ordinary moments in Topsham, where state and local police have recovered a military training device resembling a bazooka shell–nearly two feet long–found next to the parking lot of a condo project by someone walking in the area off Monroe Lane. Residents of several condominiums were asked not to leave their homes while the recovery process was underway.
A remote-controlled robot was used to remove this object, and the device was transported in a specially built trailer. It’s suspected that the device may have been left by someone who didn’t know what to do with it.
